Kim Haeberle

I was raised in Wiscasset, graduated from Wiscasset High School in 1973 and then the University of Maine – Portland-Gorham (presently USM) with a B.A. in Communication. I have been a Maine girl all of my life barring a 6 year period beginning in 1980 when I moved to Massachusetts and worked at a Boston law firm where I met my husband.  Boston was a wonderful and exciting place to be at that time in my life.  My husband, Bob, Massachusetts born and bred, fell in love with Wiscasset and Maine in general from his first visit during our courtship.  Realizing that the Boston area was not where we wanted to raise a family, we moved to Wiscasset soon after the birth of our 2 sons, Matthew and David.  We are happy that we have been able to raise our family here in Wiscasset and have had the opportunity to enjoy winter skiing, summer boating, kayaking, and everything else that this area has to offer.

My administrative support experience started during my high school summers at my father’s real estate office.  After college, I held positions at Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences, Maine Yankee Atomic Power Company, Palmer & Dodge (my one out of state position), Bath Iron Works Corporation, and Wiscasset Community Education. A few years ago, I was pleased to come back to the place where I began, Roy Farmer Real Estate at the Day House in Wiscasset.  Now that Nancy Carleton has acquired the business, I am happy to be staying on to help support Carleton Realty.
